Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Director, Group Reporting and managing a team of six at this FTSE company.
- External reporting: preparation of the quarterly press release and presentation slides, group financial statements, remuneration report; statutory accounts for UK entities.
- Main contact for group audit team ensuring a timely and high-quality audit is delivered.
- Oversee quarterly reporting, monthly group consolidation.
- Internal reporting: month-end close process, liaising with divisions on technical issues/queries and reviewing their monthly/quarterly financials.
- Monthly consolidated cashflow; acquisition accounting and intangible valuations.
- Review of BU financials and group consolidation.
- Preparation of the group monthly management accounts and board pack financials.
- Reporting of group/central entities, annual goodwill impairment model, group office and central entity budget process and review of the business unit submissions in consolidating the group budget.
Key Skills:
- Currently at senior group reporting manager level in a FTSE listed company, or senior audit manager in Top 6 accounting firm.
- Significant experience in and understanding of FTSE PLC reporting environments.
- Qualified ACA/CA with relevant PQE.
- Keen to develop a career within a large corporate.
- Strong leader / manager.
