This highly successful FTSE listed company based in central London is seeking to hire a newly qualified accountant from a mid-tier Practice firm. Based in fantastic offices overlooking the river Thames, you will be working in a team of 12 qualified accountants, responsible for management reporting and financial accounting for various businesses within the Group.
The role will cover:
- Management of the day-to-day financial performance of entities, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with contractual cash-flow and operational obligations;
- Establishing and managing relationships with key stakeholders including investors, shareholders, lenders, service providers and asset managers;
- Internal quarterly management reporting, annual statutory reporting (including UKGAAP and IFRS) and assisting the treasury team with the senior lender reporting;
- Management of a shared pool of processing and invoicing staff;
- Ensuring entities remain up to date and compliant with relevant legislation including latest accounting standards, VAT, and Hedge accounting;
- Consolidation of Company clusters, including IFRS conversions for group reporting.
Your Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA);
- Experience of audit and accounts preparation for commercial clients;
- Strong academics;
- High attention to detail and ownership of own work;
- Strong communicator able to work in a busy and thriving team;
- Strong UK GAAP experience;
- IFRS exposure preferred but not essential.
