My client, a growing marketing company based in London, is looking to recruit a Data Operations Analyst for an initial 3 month interim assignment (with the role likely to go permanent) offering hybrid working. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely collection, verification and correction of critical data from our partners systems, ensuring it is ingested to enable KPI dashboards to be updated.
Have responsibility for performing detailed data checks, and proactively identify and rectify errors to ensure the highest levels of accuracy. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity in a high growth, commercial environment.
Key responsibilities:- Ensure that reports are updated accurately and on time in accordance to business reporting requirements
- Accurately extract & upload data from marketing and merchant systems
- Perform comprehensive checks on collected data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency, identifying discrepancies and potential issues.
- Proactively identify data errors, anomalies, and potential compliance risks, and implement corrective actions in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records of all data gathering activities, findings, and corrections.
- Liaise with business on issues, identifying the cause and finding a timely resolution
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of data gathering processes and methodologies, sharing insights to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow (and develop) processes and procedures
- Exceptional ability to focus on minute details and identify subtle discrepancies in data.
- A meticulous approach to work, with a strong commitment to producing accurate and reliable results.
- Ability to proactively spot potential issues and take initiative to resolve them or escalate appropriately.
- Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, for documenting findings and collaborating with team members.
- Understanding of the importance of data integrity and speed in a performance marketing environment (or equivalent)
- Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Google Products suite (especially Google Sheets)
- Must be willing to work weekends on a rotational basis
