Join us as an Accounts Assistant at Broadstone Resourcing, working with a leading high‑street leisure company to support day‑to‑day financial operations across 40+ locations in a hybrid setting.
Pay Range
Up to £35,000 plus benefits and study support. Salary will be based on your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices across 40+ locations accurately and efficiently.
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts within the accounting system.
- Manage the invoice approval process to ensure timely authorisation.
- Handle intercompany invoice recharges.
- Prepare and process payment runs through online banking.
- Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis.
- Reconcile supplier statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to supplier queries.
- Provide ad‑hoc support to the wider finance team, particularly during periods of absence.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Accounts Payable experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts and expense coding.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Xero (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication skills, confident engaging stakeholders at all levels.
