Actuarial Director β The Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and progressive pensions professional within our Scotland-based Consulting and Actuarial teams.
Actuarial Director β Key Responsibilities
- Strategically managing client relationships β overseeing delivery of work, implementing client advice and agreeing fee structures
- Driving business development β assisting business plan development, building a client portfolio and identifying new business opportunities
- Managing staff β setting targets for direct reports, being involved in recruitment and retention of staff, and helping with the development of others
Actuarial Director β You
- An experienced Actuary with expert knowledge of the UK Actuarial and DB Pensions market
- Hold a Scheme Actuary Practising Certificate with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, or willing to apply to become one
- Strong awareness of the industry landscape, including competitor business and services
- Previous people management experience
