Senior Motor Vehicle & Diagnostic Technician and MOT Tester required for busy independent Bosch Car Service garage. Broadstairs MOT Centre is looking for a highly motivated senior motor vehicle technician to join its busy team.
Candidates will be experienced in a variety of makes and models of vehicles and proficient in electronic diagnostics, and up-to-date with the latest automotive technology. Experience of electric and hybrid is advantageous. Level 2 & 3 EV and Hybrid qualification preferred, but not essential. They will have extensive personal tooling and a drive to complete jobs on time and to the highest standards.
Applicants must be a qualified MOT tester to Class V vehicles, or willing to achieve qualification. Motorcycle MOT qualification is preferred but not essential. Must be qualified to NVQ 4 and able to evidence with certification, plus additional training undertaken. Air Con F-Gas qualified is preferred.
As part of the Bosch Car Service network, this independent family-run business is at the forefront of vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs and diagnostics. Experience of the Bosch Car Service Network is preferred but not essential.
Candidates must be efficient on job times, confident in diagnosis, be able to work independently and complete job cards competently and in detail. They will need to work well within a small, busy team of staff as well as be confident when dealing with customers. Regular employee targets will be set and the candidate will need to work to the Bosch Approved Code of Practice, maintaining high standards at all times.
Applicants will have their own extensive range of tools and be prepared to reinvest in additional tools when necessary. A full, clean driving licence is essential. Experience of using innovative diagnostic equipment is preferred. Experience of Main dealer tooling would be advantageous.
Candidates must be able to regularly read technical bulletins to stay abreast of developments and changes within the motor industry. Bosch training courses could be available for the successful candidate subject to terms and conditions. Bosch Car Service workshops enjoy all the support of Bosch, the leading supplier of original automotive equipment.
Broadstairs MOT Centre is a garage proud of upholding the highest standards of work and personal customer service and providing value for money. It has a great reputation in the community and specialises in modern, quality cars for MOT, servicing, diagnostics and repairs. Candidates will be enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Successful applicant will work a 45-hour week, plus every other Saturday morning. Competitive Salary £45,000, subject to experience, tools and qualifications. Auto-enrolment Pension Scheme.
