About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our sales team. You’ll be responsible for generating new business and selling our SaaS platform to organisations across the UK.
This is a fast-paced, target-driven role where you'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing using a range of contact methods including phone, email, LinkedIn, and face-to-face meetings.
Location: Office-based (with occasional remote work flexibility)
Key Responsibilities
Generate your own leads through research, cold outreach, and networking
Deliver product demos to prospects via video calls or in person
Identify client needs and offer tailored SaaS solutions
Work with marketing to follow up on leads from campaigns
Represent BroadShield at corporate and training events
Collaborate with the Client Experience Team to ensure smooth onboarding
Job requirements
What We’re Looking For
3+ years’ experience in B2B sales or business development
Proven success with cold calling and lead generation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work to and exceed targets
Strong IT skills and CRM system experience
Knowledge of workforce development or training software is a plus
Full UK driving licence and access to a car (with business insurance)
Benefits
£32,000–£34,000 base salary (depending on experience)
Uncapped commission – OTE £40,000 -£44,000+
