We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to assist with the maintenance of the Broads National Park.
The successful candidate will be confident in a range of practical skills such as boat handling, use of brushcutters and chainsaws, power tools and other small construction plant equipment. Regular team-working, often with volunteers in wetland and remote locations, means we are looking for a highly motivated, well-organised team player.
Applicants should have a current driving licence. As a mobile member of staff, the daily work base will vary across the Broads, and transport will be provided. Practical construction experience in countryside furniture and working on, or near, water is highly advantageous. The ability to work outside in all weather conditions for long periods is essential.
The closing date for applications is midday on Monday 28 September.
Interviews will be held at the Dockyard, Griffin Lane, Thorpe St Andrew on Monday 5 October.
The Broads Authority encourages applications from all sections of the community.
