We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to assist with the maintenance of the Broads National Park.

The successful candidate will be confident in a range of practical skills, including boat handling and the operation of heavy plant and equipment. Practical construction experience operating large plant machinery, such as excavators, particularly within wetland environments, is highly advantageous.

The role involves regular team-based work across waterways, wetlands and remote locations, often alongside volunteers. As such, we are looking for a highly motivated, well-organised team player who is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods.

Applicants must hold a current driving licence and demonstrate excellent boat handling skills. As a mobile member of staff, the daily work base will vary across the Broads, with transport provided.

The closing date for applications is midday on Monday 13 April. Interviews will be held at the Dockyard, Griffin Lane, Thorpe St Andrew, on Thursday 23 April.
