The Operations Change Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and embedding change initiatives across the organisation. This role ensures that changes arising from transformation programmes, technology implementations, process improvements, or strategic initiatives are successfully adopted by the business and deliver the intended benefits.

The Operations Change Manager works closely with product, project teams, senior stakeholders, operational leaders, and end users to assess change impacts, manage readiness, support communications, coordinate training, and drive sustainable adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage business change activities across projects and programmes.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and interventions to support successful delivery and adoption.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify how people, processes, systems, and ways of working will be affected.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand needs, concerns, and readiness for change.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders, project managers, and business teams to ensure alignment and engagement.
  • Design and deliver stakeholder engagement plans, communication plans, and adoption strategies.
  • Support the development and coordination of training plans and user support materials.
  • Identify change risks, resistance, and barriers to adoption, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor business readiness and adoption levels throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Track and report on change progress, stakeholder engagement, and benefits realisation.
  • Ensure change activities are integrated with project delivery plans and organisational objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, briefings, and feedback sessions to support understanding and engagement.
  • Champion a people-focused approach to change and continuous improvement across the organisation.
  • Support post-implementation reviews to assess adoption, lessons learned, and ongoing improvement needs.
Skills and Competencies
  • Knowledge of market connectivity solutions including ISO20022 MX, API, and SFTP.
  • Initiative and innovative approach to solutions.
  • Proven experience in a business change, organisational change, or transformation role.
  • Experience supporting large-scale change programmes, including process, technology, or operating model changes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess change impacts and develop practical mitigation plans.
  • Experience creating and delivering change management plans, communications, and engagement activities.
  • Strong facilitation and workshop delivery skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret feedback, risks, and adoption metrics.
  • Good understanding of project and programme environments.
