In this role, you will lead clients through complex implementation activities, coordinating project launches, ensuring regulatory go-lives, and delivering a seamless end-to-end onboarding experience. You will combine technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and strong communication skills to guide clients and internal teams toward successful, high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand client goals, gather requirements, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Design, document, and execute structured testing plans to validate system requirements and ensure accuracy.
- Partner closely with Sales on design proposals, RFP responses, pre-sales discussions, and recommending product configurations.
- Develop coding solutions, build integrations, and ensure seamless system alignment following software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams, manage enhancements and escalations, and influence stakeholders to drive alignment.
- Advise on holistic end-to-end solutions that consider regulatory changes, market needs, and technical design; support solution whiteboarding and product discussions.
- Coordinate release deployments with DevOps for hosted clients; manage build tools to produce release artifacts and documentation; support installation across multiple environments.
- Maintain deep functional and regulatory knowledge, applying concepts across disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve technical, operational, and organizational issues.
- Ensure service quality, adherence to policies, and timely delivery across all project phases to meet client expectations and business targets.
- Lead and mentor direct reports through regular check-ins, feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement practices; ensure release processes are followed and scalable solutions are delivered.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of full project lifecycle experience, ideally in an investment bank or capital markets software environment.
- Detailed knowledge of at least three of the following regulatory reporting regimes with MiFID being required: MiFID II (RTS 1, 2 and 22), EMIR, Dodd-Frank (CFTC/SBSR), Canadian, SFTR, MAS, HKMA, ASIC.
- 3+ years delivering commercial products via service organizations/financial institutions.
- Understanding of ETL tools, SaaS middleware implementations (e.g., AWS), and issue-management workflows (Jira, Remedy, HP).
- Strong project governance abilities across all lifecycle stages.
- Consulting and senior stakeholder management experience.
- Experience with Git source control and code management practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Linux OS/Bash.
- Proficiency in SQL or another relational database language.
- At least one scripting language (Python, Perl, JavaScript).
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
