Senior Global Operations Associate

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented professional to join our Global Market Operations Team in a senior capacity. This role demands a background in proxy voting operations and a deep understanding of global market workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and validating high-profile data across proprietary systems, overseeing operational processes, and leading the execution of market voting activities under tight deadlines. As a senior subject matter expert in the proxy voting process, you will lead and guide operational activities across key Global markets. You\’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of client votes, interpret local market requirements, and liaise with issuers and vote agents. You will also stay informed on evolving European directives and regulatory changes. In addition to hands-on responsibilities, you will play a key role in optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement. You will track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), compile monthly statistics, and support billing and reporting processes to ensure operational efficiency and accountability. Responsibilities Oversees own workload while mentoring and supporting team members to ensure operational excellence. Resolves both routine and complex issues using sound judgment, strategic insight, and established frameworks. Monitors, analyzes, and reports performance metrics to inform billing, operational improvements, and strategic decisions Communicates with clarity and influence across international teams, issuers, vote agents, and senior stakeholders Builds and nurtures strong cross-functional relationships, fostering collaboration across global operations Drives the delivery of Global Proxy Services across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and SLAs Manages high-pressure situations with composure, applying advanced planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills Champions a culture of accountability, client focus, and continuous improvement across the team, and leads by example. Preferred Qualifications Educated to A Level standard or equivalent International Baccalaureate. Would suit someone with several years\’ experience within an operational role in the financial services industry or in a commercial environment. A financial service qualification is desired but not essential. 2 to 5 years\’ experience in proxy voting or corporate actions. Skills & Competencies Strong operational expertise with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering results Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners. Proven ability to perform under pressure, managing high volumes and tight deadlines with composure and efficiency.
