As EMEA Head of BPO, you will set the strategic direction and lead end-to-end service delivery across a complex, multi-site EMEA footprint. Combining regional oversight with deep expertise in financial operations, you will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client outcomes, while building high-performing teams and a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of financial operations across multiple EMEA service centers, covering middle and back-office functions including reconciliations, settlements, trade support, billing, reporting, and financial controls.
- Develop and execute a regional operations strategy aligned with global objectives, ensuring delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant services.
- Act as the senior point of contact for key EMEA clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, strengthening long-term partnerships, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and engagement.
- Partner with commercial and relationship teams to support solution design, pursue growth opportunities, and contribute to regional revenue objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operational performance, ensuring consistent adherence to SLAs, KPIs, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements across all locations.
- Lead initiatives to drive efficiency, standardize processes, and embed automation and digital solutions, leveraging Lean or Six Sigma methodologies where appropriate.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a diverse, high-performing regional leadership team, fostering talent development, succession planning, and strong employee engagement.
- Ensure robust operational governance, maintaining effective control environments, regulatory compliance and audit readiness across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead regional financial management, including budgeting, capacity planning, and resource optimization aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee business continuity and resilience planning to safeguard operational stability across EMEA.
- Represent EMEA financial operations in global forums, internal steering committees, and client governance meetings, providing thought leadership and executive credibility.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in operations management, shared services, or outsourced service delivery environments.
- Strong Capital Markets and Securities Operations expertise across EMEA, with deep knowledge of middle and back-office functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of leading large, multi-site teams and managing complex, multi-disciplinary operations.
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting client SLAs, improving operational KPIs, and delivering transformation and change initiatives.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets and P&L accountability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence at senior and executive levels.
- Certification or hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
