Senior Client Policy Analyst, Governance will join a specialized research team operating at the intersection of investor and issuer corporate governance practices. The role focuses on proxy voting across the full lifecycle—policy implementation, research, execution, data management, and reporting—providing deep expertise in the evolving corporate governance landscape and its role in capital markets.
Responsibilities
- Ensure client voting policies are accurately implemented and effectively executed.
- Update, maintain, and enhance voting policies for institutional clients.
- Assist team members in policy application and development.
- Analyze issuer filings, proxy statements, and other disclosures to assess corporate governance practices.
- Leverage analytical tools and models to identify patterns in proxy voting activity and governance trends, delivering both quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Support internal teams and external clients by understanding and responding to voting, reporting, and governance insight needs.
- Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in governance research, proxy voting, or a related field.
- European languages preferred.
- Familiarity with issuer corporate governance research, ideally globally.
- Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
