Are you an experienced Naval Architect looking for the opportunity to work on real-world vessel projects and play a key role in taking designs from concept through to production? We are working with an established organisation within the marine sector that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced Naval Architect. You will be involved across the design and development of vessels, working on technical drawings, 3D modelling, structural design and engineering solutions, while working closely with production teams to ensure designs are practical, achievable and fit for purpose.
You will play an important role in supporting the design and development of marine vessels, working alongside engineering, production and project teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing marine vessels and systems
- Producing detailed technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Creating and developing 3D CAD models
- Supporting structural design and engineering activities
- Reviewing designs for practicality, performance and manufacturability
- Working closely with production teams to resolve technical issues
- Managing design changes and modifications
- Providing technical engineering support throughout vessel builds
