Take the Lead in Marine Design Are you an experienced Naval Architect looking for the opportunity to work on real-world vessel projects and play a key role in taking designs from concept through to production? Were working with an established organisation within the marine sector that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced Naval Architect. Youll be involved across the design and development of vessels, working on technical drawings, 3D modelling, structural design and engineering solutions, while working closely with production teams to ensure designs are practical, achievable and fit for purpose. The Role Youll play an important role in supporting the design and development of marine vessels, working alongside engineering, production and project teams. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing marine vessels and systems Producing detailed technical drawings and engineering documentation Creating and developing 3D CAD models Supporting structural design and engineering activities Reviewing designs for practicality, performance and manufacturability Working closely with production teams to resolve technical issues Managing design changes and modifications Providing technical engineering support throughout vessel builds Working collaboratively with project and engineering teams Supporting projects from initial design through to completion Ensuring designs meet required technical and engineering standards Why This Role? This is more than a purely desk-based design position. Youll ideally have: A degree or relevant qualification in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or a related discipline Previous experience within naval architecture or marine engineering Strong knowledge of vessel design and marine engineering principles Experience producing technical drawings and working with 3D CAD Knowledge of structural design and vessel construction Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail A practical approach to engineering and design Strong communication and teamwork skills Ready for Your Next Marine Engineering Challenge?
