Marine Engineer
Location: South Cornwall
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Permanent – £35k
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm (40 hours/week)

Were looking for a skilled and passionate Marine Engineer to join a well-established marine engineering company based in South Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide variety of leisure and commercial marine projects, delivering exceptional standards of workmanship and customer care.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone experienced with marine mechanical systems up to 1000hp who enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out mechanical engineering on a range of leisure and commercial craft (up to 1000hp)

Interact with clients on-site, promoting services and upholding high professional standards

Work effectively as part of a skilled team to deliver quality and efficiency across projects

Candidate Requirements
Essential:

Proven and current experience as a marine mechanical engineer

Strong understanding of marine engines and systems up to 1000hp

Full UK driving licence

Strong teamworking and communication skills

Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a marine environment
Desirable:

Experience with marine electrical systems

Customer-facing experience or training
