We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join a skilled team working on marine vessels. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication, assembly and installation of steel and structural components across both new-build and in-service boats.

The Role

  • Fabricating and assembling steel and structural components
  • Working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Installing structural components onboard marine vessels
  • Carrying out welding, cutting, grinding and general fabrication work
  • Working on both new-build projects and vessel maintenance/refit work
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
  • Working effectively as part of a wider engineering and production team

About You

  • Has previous experience in fabrication, ideally within marine, shipbuilding or a similar heavy engineering environment
  • Can read and interpret technical drawings
  • Has strong practical fabrication and welding skills
  • Is confident working with steel and structural components
  • Takes pride in producing high-quality work
  • Works safely and follows site procedures
  • Can work independently while also contributing effectively to a team
