We are looking for an experienced and motivatedBench Joinerto join a talented workshop team on a permanent basis. If you take pride in craftsmanship and have a keen eye for detail, wed love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce full-sized working rods within set timeframes
• Create clear and precise cutting lists
• Measure and mark cutting lines using appropriate tools
• Verify components match drawings and specifications
• Operate woodworking machinery and power tools
• Cut, shape, dry-assemble and final-assemble joinery components
• Fit ironmongery, fixtures, and fittings with precision
• Perform quality checks and sign off on completed products
• Support site fitting teams as required
• Prioritise Health & Safety in the workplace
• Attend training sessions and work additional hours when necessary

What Were Looking For:

• Qualifications:City & Guilds / NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
• Experience:Demonstrable bench joinery experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong understanding of traditional and modern joinery techniques
• Excellent planning, organisation, and attention to detail
• Good communication and team-working skills
• Problem-solving ability and a positive, can-do approach
• Broad knowledge of materials and related trades
