This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in supporting the leisure, superyacht, and small commercial marine sectors through technical guidance, regulatory insight, and industry engagement.
You will act as a key point of contact for technical matters, supporting both industry stakeholders and wider regulatory engagement. The role combines technical expertise, policy awareness, and stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance on technical standards, regulations, and compliance frameworks
- Supporting industry engagement with government agencies and regulatory bodies
- Contributing to technical policy, consultation responses, and working groups
- Engaging with member organisations to support operational and compliance challenges
- Translating complex technical requirements into clear, practical advice

About You
We are seeking a technically capable and commercially aware individual with:
- A degree in engineering, marine, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and technical standards
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders
- Confidence presenting and representing technical viewpoints in professional settings
- A structured, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving capability
