An established and growing specialist interiors business is seeking a Project Manager to oversee bespoke interior and joinery projects from tender stage through to completion, handover and aftercare. This is an opportunity to join a business with over 50 years of heritage, delivering exceptional interior environments through a combination of modern manufacturing, technical expertise and traditional craftsmanship. You will work closely with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest standards of quality.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing projects from enquiry and tender stage through to final account
  • Coordinating programmes, budgets, resources and project delivery activities
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers throughout project lifecycles
  • Raising and managing subcontract orders and purchase orders
  • Handling client RFIs, design changes and project variations
  • Monitoring project costs, risks and commercial performance
  • Managing valuations, variations and cost reporting
  • Producing project trackers and reporting documentation
  • Attending project meetings and site visits across the UK
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, fire compliance and building regulations
  • Managing project handovers, O&M manuals, snagging and aftercare
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout project delivery

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • Experience within:
    • Construction
    • Interior fit-out
    • Joinery
    • Manufacturing
    • Specialist project delivery environments
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

Desirable:

  • Joinery or interior fit-out project experience
  • Practical understanding of joinery installation
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and fire compliance requirements
  • Understanding of the Building Safety Act regime
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS qualification
  • MCIOB membership or equivalent
