We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Marine Engineer to join a well-established marine engineering company. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide variety of leisure and commercial marine projects, delivering exceptional standards of workmanship and customer care. This hands-on role is ideal for someone experienced with marine mechanical systems up to 1000hp who enjoys working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical engineering on a range of leisure and commercial craft (up to 1000hp)
- Interact with clients on-site, promoting services and upholding high professional standards
- Work effectively as part of a skilled team to deliver quality and efficiency across projects
- Support continuous improvement and business development through input and feedback
- Maintain and promote high standards of health and safety at all times
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven and current experience as a marine mechanical engineer
- Strong understanding of marine engines and systems up to 1000hp
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong teamworking and communication skills
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a marine environment
Desirable:
- Experience with marine electrical systems
- Customer-facing experience or training
What’s on Offer
- 40-hour week: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with ½ hour lunch break
- Overtime paid at 1.5x standard rate
