A specialist provider of temporary fire alarm systems for construction sites, with over 30 years of industry leadership, is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Junior Field Service Engineer to install and maintain radio-linked fire alarm systems across construction projects throughout London, the Midlands and occasionally nationwide. This role offers strong earning potential and long-term progression.
The Role
You will install, service and troubleshoot wireless fire alarm systems on active construction sites. Full product training is provided. Experience with similar radio-linked security or fire systems is advantageous but not essential. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel and early starts where needed.
- Installation of radio-link fire alarm systems on construction sites
- Servicing, fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Ensuring systems are fully operational and compliant
- Working directly with site managers and contractors
- Maintaining high safety and customer service standards
- Regular travel across London, Midlands and nationwide projects
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Positive, motivated and reliable attitude
- Comfortable with extensive travel and driving
- Experience working on construction sites
- CSCS card (or willing to obtain)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to work regular overtime
Preferred (but not essential):
- Electrical qualifications
- Experience installing fire alarm systems
- Experience with radio-linked security systems
- Strong fault-finding ability
