We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join a skilled team working on marine vessels. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication, assembly and installation of steel and structural components across both new-build and in-service boats.
The Role
- Fabricating and assembling steel and structural components
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Installing structural components onboard marine vessels
- Carrying out welding, cutting, grinding and general fabrication work
- Working on both new-build projects and vessel maintenance/refit work
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
- Working effectively as part of a wider engineering and production team
About You
- Has previous experience in fabrication, ideally within marine, shipbuilding or a similar heavy engineering environment
- Can read and interpret technical drawings
- Has strong practical fabrication and welding skills
- Is confident working with steel and structural components
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Works safely and follows site procedures
- Can work independently while also contributing effectively to a team
