Broadreach is currently working with a well-established marine manufacturer to recruit experienced Boat Builders for a contract opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled boatbuilders looking for their next contract within a professional and fast-paced production environment.

The Role

You will support the build and fit-out of high-quality vessels, working across both interior and exterior stages of production. The position requires strong hands-on ability, attention to detail and the confidence to work from technical drawings.

Duties will include:

  • Installing deck and sailing hardware
  • Fitting bulkheads and structural components
  • Interior joinery and furniture fitting
  • GRP/fibreglass component installation and finishing
  • Installing windows, hatches and deck fittings
  • Basic upholstery and finishing work
  • Fairing, finishing and supporting quality checks

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in boatbuilding or a similar manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of timber and composite materials
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently within a production team
