Fit Out Carpenter / Interior Carpenter – Precision Manufacturing Location: Plymouth, Devon Salary / Rate: Competitive (DOE) Type: Contract & Permanent Opportunities The Role We are recruiting Fit Out Carpenters / Interior Carpenters to support the installation of high-quality, bespoke interior components within a precision-led manufacturing environment. This role suits tradespeople who care about finish, detail and craftsmanship, and who enjoy working on complex interior installations rather than rough site work. Key Responsibilities * Installation and fit-out of bespoke interior and joinery components * Precision fitting to drawings and specifications * Working with hardwoods, veneers, laminates and engineered boards * Maintaining high standards of finish and detailing * Working to defined quality, safety and production standards * Keeping work areas clean, organised and professional About You * Level 2 or higher Carpentry or Joinery qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, apprenticeship) * Proven experience in high-quality interior fit-out or joinery Backgrounds welcomed from: * Bespoke joinery or cabinet making * High-end residential or commercial interiors * Transport, aviation or rail interiors * Marine or complex interior environments * Exhibition or luxury retail fit-out * Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Direct sector experience is less important than quality, precision and finish.
