Your opportunity to lead Modern Foreign Language and inspire the next generation of students. As the Curriculum leader of Modern Foreign Language, you must be a dual-linguist – French & Spanish – to match curriculum of school. You will lead our department across Key Stages 3 and 4, overseeing curriculum, teaching, and assessment strategies to ensure high standards of student achievement. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support a team of dedicated teachers. This is a great opportunity to join us in a period of transition with a new Principal and Vice Principal within the Academy.

About you

  • Experience of working with children and young people.
  • Experience of assimilating information to facilitate the delivery of lesson plans effectively.
  • A basic knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
  • Excellent standard of oral and written communication skills and ability to understand and convey information effectively.
  • Good organisational and efficient administration skills.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with teachers and other academy staff.
  • The skills to participate in class discussions in an informed and sensitive manner.
