Deputy Manager – Broadleigh Care Home
Broadleigh Care Home is a busy, family-run 35-bedded dual-registered home with a strong reputation for quality care. We are seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team and work closely with our long-standing, highly experienced Home Manager, who has mentored and developed three of our current Registered Managers.
Responsibilities
This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in both personal care delivery and supporting the Manager with day-to-day operations. When working on the floor, you will be the Person in Charge, confidently leading staff and supporting our nursing team (no clinical background required).
- Working alongside the Manager on administrative and compliance tasks, with a good understanding of CQC requirements.
- Being a confident communicator with staff, relatives, and external professionals.
- Sharing the on-call rota and making decisions in the Manager’s absence.
- Embracing opportunities for professional development and progression—we will fully support your growth.
