Day Care Assistant required for 22 hours per week with the view to full time hours in the future.

*The Role & Responsibility*
* Caring for Dementia residents with in the care home environment.
* To ensure that care is delivered in a safe manner that promotes person centred care, dignity and respect to the residents.
* Delivering personal care.
* Assisting with nutrition and hydration ensuring the residents achieve their targets daily.
* Monitor and document client health and behaviour.
* Maintain a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the well-being of clients.
*Personal Attributes*
* Compassionate, patient and committed to maintaining the residents individuality and dignity.
* Good communication and English language skills.
* Flexibility and self-motivated.
* Be a caring individual.
* Have a good understanding of food & fluid charts, weight monitoring and additional charts needed for individual residents.
* Have a good understanding of Dementia.
*Qualifications*
* Previous care experience is required but not essential.
