The predicted salary is between 39036 - 39036 Β£ per year.

Full Time (40 hours per week) Based in Norwich, however travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required. Starting Salary of Β£39,036 per annum, with opportunities to progress to Β£45,272 per annum, plus Company Vehicle and Call out payments. Permanent Contract.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our Asset Team who will work within the planned workstream. We are looking for a bright spark to ignite their potential in helping to maintain our homes and make a difference for our residents. The works will be in and around Norwich and also throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk, carrying out planned works and occasional reactive repairs and electrical inspection and testing.

The main duties for the role include:

  • To work closely with the Electrical Planned Team to help deliver planned electrical works including domestic rewires, domestic electrical upgrades, communal lighting rewires & communal upgrades as well as fuse board unit changes.
  • You may need to help support with the effective and efficient delivery of electrical related repairs where required. This is across responsive repairs, EICRs and void properties.
  • Ensuring that the work is undertaken in a timely manner consistent with prescribed performance indicators advised.
  • Manage tenant enquiries and respond in a professional manner reporting anything back to the relevant manager.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • City and Guilds 2357 / City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • City and Guilds 5357 including AM2S apprenticeship.
  • City and Guilds 2360 – Part 1 and Part 2 AM2 (depending on qualification period).
  • City and Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3.
  • City and Guilds or equivalent 2382 (18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations).
  • City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification.
  • A Driving Licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required.
  • Experience of working in Property Maintenance.
  • Good IT skills.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will join our on-call rota.
