Shift Hours: Permanent Scheme Manager (Non-residential) Norwich. Full time - 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm).
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheme Manager covering our Sheltered Housing Scheme in Norwich. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide support to our residents to enable them to live as independently as possible. The role involves:
- Responsibility for delivering welfare, support and management services to residents living within sheltered housing schemes.
- Assisting tenants in claiming relevant welfare benefits, maximising their income and ensuring rent is paid through appropriate methods.
- Allocating and letting of empty homes within the schemes.
- Working with professional and voluntary agencies to encourage good neighbourhood relations and promote a sense of community.
- Occasional cover required across our other Sheltered Housing schemes across Norfolk and Suffolk.
About You
The role is extremely customer focussed and partnership working will often be required in order to meet the customers' needs. Experience of multi-agency working and a good knowledge of local services is desirable. The successful candidate will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English).
As the role requires attendance at Broadland premises, candidates must live within a 75-minute commute of their office location (Norwich, NR1 1HU).
