Full time, 37 hours a week, Monday – Friday

Graduate Asset Surveyor starting salary at £28,785 per annum, with future progression opportunities to £30,622 per annum, plus Essential Car User allowance of £4,548.48

Asset Surveyor starting salary at £40,243 per annum, with future progression opportunities to £42,811, plus Essential Car User Allowance of £4,548 per annum for Asset Surveyor

About the role

We have a rare opportunity to join our busy Asset Team in a role that can be appointed at either Asset Surveyor or Graduate Asset Surveyor level, depending on experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference to our tenants’ lives and help ensure our homes are maintained to a high standard. You will support the delivery of a wide range of project management duties — from smaller renovations within individual homes to larger-scale works across our buildings — helping us provide safe, well‑maintained properties for our tenants. As a Graduate Surveyor we will support you developing your skills and grow your confidence in to becoming an Asset Surveyor in the future.

Some of the key duties of the role will include:

  • Taking ownership and completing stock condition surveys to ensure our data is up to date and correct.
  • Supporting with the assessment of energy efficiency of our homes and to facilitate the delivery of the energy improvement programme.
  • Scheduling and facilitating the operational delivery of the planned and cyclical works programmes, including the post inspections for outsourced contracts.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is capable of working independently, as well as in a team and has the ability to manage their own workload. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working as a Property Surveyor and/or experience of managing and coordinating projects with a HNC or similar relevant qualification (or working towards one for the Graduate position). Excellent IT/digital competence is a must as well as being competent in identifying and diagnosing property related defects is essential. They will also be willing to work towards the EPC Assessor qualification as well as a commitment to work towards Associate RICS or CIOB membership. A driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential as travel throughout Norfolk will be required.
