The predicted salary is between 31000 - 37000 £ per year.

Full Time (40 hours per week) based in Norfolk, however travel to Kings Lynn / Dereham will be required. Starting Salary of £37,534 per annum, with opportunities to progress to £43,530 per annum. Plus, Company Vehicle and Call out payments. Permanent Contract.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our hardworking team. We are looking for a bright spark to ignite their potential in helping to maintain our homes and make a difference for our tenants. Most of the work will be in and around Norwich, but travel may be required throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk and will be carrying out reactive works including fault finding, void and EICR Electrical works to our homes.

The main focus of the role will be:

  • To take ownership for effective and efficient electrical related repairs in occupied and vacant homes.
  • To work as part of a team carrying out the company in-house EICR domestic testing programme.
  • To cover Responsive Repairs and Electrical Inspections and provide Testing support where necessary.

About You

All staff and volunteers working for Broadland will always be expected to act in a manner that is consistent with our corporate values and behaviours. The successful candidate will have the following:

  • City and Guilds 5357 / City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • City and Guilds 2360 – Part 1 and Part 2 or City and Guilds 2330 Level 2 and Level 3 as well as AM2 (desirable) depending on when NVQ completed.
  • City and Guilds or equivalent th Edition of the Wiring Regulations.
  • City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification.
  • A Driving Licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required.
  • Experience of working in Property Maintenance.
  • Good IT skills.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will join our on-call rota.
