Role Objectives
As a Data Analytics Engineer, youâll work on Broadlabâs entire data pipeline, from ingestion and transformation to reporting and dashboarding. Youâll ensure data is reliable, secure, and available for downstream use in data science, product, and business intelligence. This role is critical for enabling the rest of the team to work effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting and transforming raw data.
- Manage and evolve Broadlabâs data architecture, schema, and warehouse strategy.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and data quality frameworks.
- Partner with Product to build client-facing dashboards and internal reporting tools.
- Optimise data processing costs and performance in the cloud environment.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations across jurisdictions.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift).
- Experience building robust pipelines in AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Familiarity with data visualisation platforms (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
- Ability to translate business reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
