We're partnering with a well-established financial services organisation undergoing a significant finance transformation programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key finance systems and controls initiatives, influence strategic decision-making, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future operating model of the finance function.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and offshore teams, you'll review existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen controls, and help deliver a more efficient and scalable finance environment.
Responsibilities- Reviewing and enhancing finance systems, processes and control frameworks
- Identifying control gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Leading finance transformation and process improvement initiatives
- Working closely with offshore finance teams to assess and optimise operating models
- Supporting key business and regulatory change projects
- Analysing complex financial and operational data to support decision-making
- Building robust controls and governance processes across the finance function
- Collaborating with stakeholders across finance, compliance and operations
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant
- Experience leading finance transformation, systems improvement or controls projects
- Strong understanding of finance controls and governance frameworks
- Experience working within a regulated financial services environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to challenge existing processes and drive positive change
- Exposure to client money controls (CASS) would be advantageous
- Experience with Composure would be beneficial
