This is not a box-ticking role. On offer is a senior, standalone seat across Compliance and Legal/Regulatory – high autonomy, low bureaucracy, daily exposure to the senior team. You'll be the person the business turns to on every regulatory matter, embedding regulation into products from day one. An enabler, not a blocker.

What you'll need:
- Minimum of 5 years' financial services regulatory experience.
- Genuine fintech exposure - essential.
- Payments and crypto familiarity.
- Real experience with regulators beyond the FCA and a hand in regulatory applications.
- A regulatory lawyer is a bonus, not a must.
What you'll own:
- Main point of contact for the FCA and European regulators.
- Regulatory responses and reports.
- New licence applications and variations of permission.
- Cross-functional partnering with Product, Sales, Ops and Marketing.
- Horizon scanning, Dear CEO letters, external audits, and a strong internal regulatory culture.
