About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CDD Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation on an initial 4-month contract. This role will focus on remediation, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and KYC/AML processes, with particular exposure to Investment Banking and High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) client populations. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused position suited to an experienced CDD professional who can work at pace within a structured remediation programme while maintaining high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end CDD and EDD reviews across a portfolio of clients, including complex structures and High Net Worth Individuals.
  • Support remediation projects, ensuring outstanding KYC/AML documentation and due diligence gaps are identified and resolved within agreed timelines.
  • Perform risk-based assessments in line with AML regulations, escalating high-risk cases and unusual findings where appropriate.
  • Verify source of funds/source of wealth documentation for HNWI clients, ensuring adequate evidence and audit trail.
  • Liaise with front office, Compliance, and Financial Crime teams to resolve outstanding due diligence queries.
  • Maintain accurate records within case management/KYC systems, ensuring documentation is audit-ready.
  • Identify and escalate financial crime risks, gaps in process, or recurring issues during remediation activity.
  • Work to strict SLAs and productivity targets while maintaining accuracy and quality of output.

Essential Experience

  • 4+ years' experience within CDD, specifically within Financial Services.
  • Proven experience working within Investment Banking and/or with High Net Worth Individual client populations.
  • Strong hands-on experience within remediation projects/programmes.
  • Solid understanding of CDD, EDD, KYC and AML regulatory requirements.
  • Experience assessing complex ownership structures, source of funds/wealth, and higher-risk client types.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of casework accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.

This role requires the successful candidate to attend the office 3 days per week. This is an initial 4-month contract, with potential for extension based on business need. Please note: sponsorship is not available for this role. Candidates must already hold the right to work in the UK.
