Broadgate are partnered with a leader in international corporate services looking to employ a Director of Business Development & Marketing. This senior role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to drive sustainable revenue growth, enhance client engagement and strengthen market positioning.

Responsibilities include:

  • Co-develop and execute the global BD&M strategy aligned to commercial priorities and broader business objectives
  • Shape sector, product and asset-class growth strategies across jurisdictions
  • Develop and implement jurisdiction-specific go-to-market plans
  • Advise senior stakeholders on targeting, account development and growth opportunities
  • Strengthen cross-service collaboration and referral opportunities
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth and improve pipeline visibility
  • Deepen key client relationships and enhance cross-selling initiatives
  • Lead high-quality, client-centric RFP and pitch processes
  • Partner with Finance and service leaders on pricing strategy and margin optimisation
  • Improve win rates through structured account planning and opportunity management
  • Design and implement a scalable BD&M operating model
  • Optimise CRM systems, data integrity and reporting dashboards
  • Introduce measurable KPIs, ROI metrics and performance tracking tools
  • Develop best-practice templates, playbooks and marketing collateral
  • Lead process improvements across proposals, targeting and campaign delivery
  • Refine and strengthen the organisation’s brand positioning and value proposition
  • Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across jurisdictions
  • Lead digital demand generation initiatives including automation and segmentation strategies
  • Oversee SEO/SEM and targeted content campaigns for key client segments
  • Support employer branding initiatives in collaboration with HR
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing BD&M team
  • Set clear objectives, performance standards and development plans
  • Embed BD capability across the wider business through training and coaching
  • Operate as a hands-on “player-manager,” balancing strategic leadership with practical delivery
  • Ensure BD&M activities comply with multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate service representation across marketing materials
  • Uphold data privacy, GDPR and information security standards
  • Partner with Risk & Compliance to ensure appropriate governance

Requirements:

  • 12+ years’ senior BD&M leadership experience within corporate services, fiduciary services, fund administration or related professional services
  • Demonstrated success driving commercial growth and leading change initiatives
  • Experience managing offshore and/or multi-jurisdictional teams
  • Strong expertise in pitching, RFP management, account strategy and CRM optimisation
  • Proven ability to build, motivate and scale high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with executive-level stakeholder influencing skills
  • Experience operating in fast-growth or transformational environments
  • Degree qualified
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
