Are you an experienced HR professional looking to move from an internal HR role into consultancy?

Or perhaps you're already working in HR consultancy and want to join a growing, supportive team where you can make a real impact?

We’re looking for a Senior HR Consultant to join a growing People Consultancy team in Aberdeen, supporting a diverse portfolio of businesses across the UK.

This is a role where no two days are the same.

You'll work closely with clients at different stages of their growth journey, providing practical HR advice, solving complex people challenges and helping businesses build better workplaces.

What you'll be doing

You'll become a trusted HR partner to your clients, providing commercially focused advice across:

  • Employee relations and day-to-day HR matters
  • Employment law and HR best practice
  • HR policies, processes and documentation
  • Absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Recruitment, onboarding and employee development
  • HR structure and process improvements
  • Building inclusive and values-led workplace cultures
  • Developing practical HR toolkits, templates and solutions
  • Advising managers and leadership teams
  • Mentoring and supporting other members of the consultancy team

The key is that you're not simply providing HR advice – you'll understand the client's business, identify what they really need and deliver practical solutions that work.

What we're looking for

You'll ideally bring

  • 4+ years' HR experience, with strong employee relations and employment law knowledge
  • Experience in either an internal HR or consultancy environment
  • Level 7 Advanced CIPD or a willingness to work towards it
  • Strong commercial awareness and a consultative approach
  • Excellent communication, listening and relationship-building skills
  • The confidence to advise managers, leadership teams and clients
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • HR systems implementation experience would be advantageous
  • Full driving licence and access to a car – essential due to client-site travel

Why consider it?

This is an opportunity to broaden your HR experience, work across different sectors and develop genuine consultancy expertise while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.

You'll join a wider professional services group of 1,000+ people across the UK, Ireland and USA, with access to expertise across HR, finance, tax, audit, corporate finance and wealth management.

You'll have plenty of opportunity to grow, develop your skills, take on additional responsibility and make your mark within a growing consultancy.

Interested?

If you're an experienced HR professional who enjoys working with people, solving problems and making a tangible difference to businesses, we'd love to hear from you.
