Turn pay data into decisions that shape how people are rewarded.
Pay is never just numbers. It's fairness, competitiveness and the story that helps people feel valued. As our Reward Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert on benchmarking, grading and total reward, making sense of the data and explaining it clearly to managers and senior leaders.
Responsibilities will include:
- Benchmarking: Lead pay benchmarking, own the annual salary survey submissions and recommend competitive salary ranges.
- Grading: Evaluate and grade roles using a recognised job evaluation method, applied consistently, and analyse pay across grades, roles and teams.
- M&A: Support due diligence, grade mapping and pay harmonisation on mergers and acquisitions.
- Total reward: Model LTIP outturns, build Total Reward Statements and support the annual pay review and bonus cycles.
- Compliance and advice: Deliver gender pay gap reporting and equal pay audits, and advise HR and managers on pay queries.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in a reward analyst role.
- Strong hands‑on role grading and job evaluation experience.
- Salary survey benchmarking, turning market data into pay recommendations.
- Experience managing LTIPs and building Total Reward Statements.
- Advanced Excel and large datasets, plus HR systems and Power BI.
- Reward experience on mergers or acquisitions.
- Working knowledge of UK pay legislation.
- Great attention to detail, and the knack of explaining pay data to people outside HR.
