We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their high-performing Lead Generation team. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid outbound sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
In this role, you will engage with prospective clients, create interest through tailored outreach, qualify opportunities, and book high-quality meetings for the wider sales and service teams. You’ll play a key role in driving pipeline growth and helping the business expand its footprint across Scotland.
- Clearly articulate the firm’s services and create interest with senior decision-makers (CEOs, MDs, CFOs and SME leaders).
- Qualify prospects against set criteria and schedule virtual or in-person meetings for Business Development and service teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system.
- Assist with follow-up emails and supporting admin tasks.
- Cross-sell relevant services when appropriate.
- Deliver an excellent customer experience and build rapport with potential clients.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound lead-generation role.
Experience working in a professional services, B2B sales, or telemarketing environment.
Strong phone communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
Comfortable working to targets with the ability to manage multiple outreach tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in CRM systems and general digital sales tools.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to overcome objections professionally.
