The Role
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit engagements while supporting the development of junior team members and building strong, trusted client relationships.
- Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Leading fieldwork and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying and assessing audit risks and ensuring appropriate testing is performed
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Supporting managers and partners with delivery and client service
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior staff
- Ensuring audits are delivered on time and to a high professional standard
About You
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Experience in external audit within a practice environment
- Exposure to leading audit engagements and managing client relationships
- Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, collaborative and team-focused approach
