Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the preparation and review of financial transactions and bookkeeping entries across fund structures
  • Support the completion of bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews
  • Assist with treasury reporting and cash management activities
  • Support capital call, drawdown, distribution, and investor reporting processes
  • Prepare management accounts and quarterly reporting packs for review
  • Assist with the preparation of audited and unaudited financial statements
  • Liaise with auditors, legal advisers, and other third-party service providers during reporting periods
  • Respond to client and investor queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure work is completed in line with internal controls, procedures, and quality standards
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
  • Work closely with colleagues and senior team members to meet reporting deadlines and client deliverables

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, or qualified by experience
  • 1-3 years' experience within fund administration, fund accounting, audit, or a related financial services environment
  • Exposure to private equity, private debt, real estate, or alternative investment funds would be advantageous
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Exposure to IFRS, FRS 102, US GAAP, or similar reporting frameworks would be beneficial
  • Experience with fund accounting systems such as Allvue, Investran, eFront, Yardi, or similar would be advantageous
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, proactive, and eager-to-learn attitude
