Reference: Senior Credit Analyst
The roleYou will help shape lending decisions across consumer portfolios, owning strategies and improving performance. This is a hands-on role focused on driving decisions and outcomes, not just reporting.Key responsibilitiesDevelop and optimise credit strategies across the customer lifecycle
Investigate portfolio trends, risks and opportunities
Recommend and implement data-driven changes to improve outcomes
Support new lending initiatives
Present clear analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Use SQL, Python, SAS or similar tools to solve problems and automate processes
Work with Decision Scientists to get the most from predictive models
Support junior analysts
Collaborate with teams across the business
About youDegree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative subject
Substantial experience in credit risk strategy, portfolio analytics or decision science
Experience developing credit strategies in consumer lending
Good understanding of portfolio management and underwriting
Experience with credit reference agency data and decisioning systems
Strong SQL skills, with experience in SAS, Python or similar tools
Ability to influence senior stakeholders with insight
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
