Broadfield UK is seeking a Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 1-3 years PQE to join our Southampton office, offering a competitive salary of £60k to £70k plus a best in class bonus incentive scheme. As a law firm dedicated to serving mid-market clients, Broadfield UK combines deep expertise across multiple practice areas with a strong commitment to client service. Our Corporate & Commercial team works across various sectors, advising UK and international clients, from fast-growing start-ups to listed companies. The team, comprised of entrepreneurial experts, fosters a friendly and collegiate culture while delivering high-quality work comparable to that of large city firms.
In this role, you will assist and advise on all aspects of company law, including:
- Private company mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity transactions, MBOs, and MBIs
- Joint ventures and investor/shareholders' agreements
- Articles of association and other constitutional documents
- Demergers, company reconstructions, and reorganisations
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in AIM flotations, takeovers, commercial lending, and the financing and refinancing of businesses. Our corporate team represents a diverse range of clients, including acquirers, private equity and VCT funds, founders/sellers, management teams, and funders, and has historically been involved in significant deals in the Solent and Thames Valley region.
We welcome candidates relocating to the area, those looking to move laterally from a national or large regional firm, or those eager to work on larger transactions.
Qualifications include:
- Admissions to the Solicitor Roll
- A 2:1 degree or higher preferred
- Must have a minimum of 1 to 3 years PQE in a corporate team, with confidence in handling the full range of corporate processes
