Senior Change & Transformation Manager β 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Reporting Line: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Role Summary
Broadfield Law is undertaking a firm-wide transformation to modernise its operations, technology, culture, and client engagement model. We are seeking an accomplished and senior Change & Transformation Lead to oversee thedelivery and embedding of this change programme.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the COO and the Executive Leadership Team, including our Managing Partner ensuring initiatives are strategically aligned and effectively implemented across all offices.
Principal Accountabilities
- Strategic Change Leadership across diverse, identified workstreams
- Develop and manage a structured approach to change management, ensuring initiatives are integrated and governed effectively.
- Provide high-level advisory support to the COO and senior leadership team in defining transformation priorities and success measures.
- Ensure robust communication and engagement plans are in place to support sustainable adoption of change.
- Technology & Innovation
- Lead initiatives to establish Broadfield Law as a technology-enabled, innovation-driven firm.
- Facilitate the creation of innovation committees and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Identify key milestones and KPIs
- Support implementation of AI and advanced technologies across business functions and practice areas.
- Culture & Organisational Development
- Align role definitions, responsibilities, and performance metrics with the firm\βs strategic goals.
- Oversee the integration of performance management, reward, and talent development frameworks.
- Ensure recruitment, onboarding, and professional development programmes reflect firm values and future capability requirements.
- Commercial Strategy & Market Positioning
- Embed a culture of commercial awareness and client-centricity throughout the organisation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in HR, Client Development and Technology departments.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in leading transformation programmes, preferably within professional services, legal, or other complex, partnership-led organisations. They will demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills, strategic acumen, and a pragmatic approach to execution.
The role will require a mix of project management and change management skills.
- Essential experience includes:
- Extensive expertise in change management and organisational transformation.
- Demonstrable experience working at senior levels, influencing leadership and operational teams.
- Strong understanding of cultural change, innovation adoption, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in or exposure to the legal or professional services sector (advantageous).
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to deliver results in a complex, multi-office environment.
- Excellent usage of technology to create MI and updates
- Ideally, degree educated or similar

Contract Term: 12 months (fixed-term)
Base Location: London (with travel to regional offices as required : Reading, Southampton, Cambridge)
