About the Company

We are a London-based InsurTech delivering real-time underwriting intelligence for natural catastrophe risk. Our flagship platform provides property-level precision across flood, wildfire, and earthquake perils, replacing blunt postcode models for insurers, MGAs, and Lloyd's syndicates. We're a rapidly growing start-up and are looking to bring on bright, driven candidates to help lead us through this next phase of growth. Trusted by leading names across the London Market and internationally, we are growing fast and building a world-class commercial team to match our global expansion.

About the Role

We are looking for a driven, proactive individual to own the top of our sales funnel. You won't wait to be told what to do; you are someone who sees a gap, fills it, and is always looking for the next opportunity to make an impact. This is not a passive inbound role - it demands commercial curiosity and a genuine hunger to build a qualified pipeline from scratch. We need someone who 'gets it' and is a great people person - this is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to break into the insurance market, hone their skills at a well-backed start-up, or take their next step into an autonomous role at a firm that genuinely cares. Reporting directly to our Global Sales Lead, you will have full access to our sales playbook and cutting-edge tools to hit the ground running. You will track down the right contacts, craft messages that get replies, and push deals forward without being prompted.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify global prospects across the London Market, US, Canada, and Europe.
  • Lead multi-touch cadences via email, LinkedIn, and phone targeting key personas like the Chief Underwriting Officers and Head of Property.
  • Qualify leads against our ICP and hand them off as meeting-ready opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM, logging all activity and analysing data to improve outreach techniques.
  • Work with the Global Sales Lead to refine messaging based on real-time market feedback.
  • Stay current on NatCat trends and competitive positioning to represent the brand professionally.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum one year of B2B sales experience, ideally within the insurtech or data-led tech sector.
  • Direct experience selling into or a strong understanding of the insurance market (Insurers, MGAs, and Lloyd’s) is a great addition.
  • An absolute must is a history of hitting or exceeding outbound targets for qualified meetings and pipeline creation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills; able to hold credible, mature conversations at the C-suite level.
  • Ability to understand insurance terms like loss ratios and pricing accuracy, and translate that into relevant outreach.
  • Comfortable with prospecting tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with structured methodologies like MEDDICC.
  • Strong existing network and familiarity with NatCat perils.
  • Resilient, positive, and persistent; you treat a non-response as a data point, not a defeat.
  • You move with urgency and are excited to build a career in a fast-scaling business.

What We Offer

  • 40-50K base, with uncapped OTE/commission of up to 100K.
  • A clear pathway to Senior SDR or Account Executive roles within 12 months.
  • High visibility with senior leadership, and no "black boxes" or bureaucracy.
  • Working from our London office with hybrid flexibility.
