We are looking for a senior strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Customer. In this role, you won’t just sign contracts; you will own the entire lifecycle of our strategic partners, from identification and negotiation to integration and ongoing optimisation. We’re seeking bright, driven and very people-focussed candidates to show exceptional drive to learn and grow as we target 3x growth this year. We need candidates who are deep team-players, but comfortable driving business growth and high-quality relationships without being hand-held. Your goal is to build an ecosystem of partners that not only drives business growth but actively enhances the value we deliver to our policyholders.
About the Role
This is a high-impact role for a relationship builder who understands the insurance landscape. You will be responsible for developing a robust pipeline of new business opportunities while acting as the primary custodian for our existing relationships. It’s not a role that pigeon-holes you, and we’re looking for candidates who show that extra 1% in everything they do. Crucially, you will act as the "Customer Guardian" within our partnerships, collaborating with internal teams to ensure that every third-party solution we integrate aligns with our customer service standards and regulatory obligations. You’ll be a key node between customers and the product team in this chain.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential business opportunities that align with our growth strategy.
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard new partners, securing agreements that deliver commercial value and competitive advantage.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for key accounts, ensuring performance targets are met and relationships remain mutually beneficial.
- Drive innovation through joint initiatives.
- Proactively identify ways to refine partnership models to deliver better outcomes for the business and the customer.
- Collaborate with internal Product, Tech, and Ops teams to seamlessly integrate partner solutions into our customer journeys.
- Champion the customer in all partner interactions.
- Ensure all partnerships meet Consumer Duty obligations and support fair value and good outcomes for policyholders.
- Track partnership KPIs (commercial and operational) and present actionable insights to the Head of Customer and others on the senior team.
- Support internal audits and maintain robust oversight of partner compliance, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Qualifications
- A strong track record (4+ years) in National/Key Account Management or Partnership Management, ideally within the Insurance or Financial Services sector. Insurance experience is a must for securing the upper band of this role.
- Skill in securing agreements, managing stakeholders, and negotiating commercial terms with clients of varying size and sector.
- You view every partnership through the lens of the customer.
- You understand Consumer Duty and why it matters.
- You can look at performance data and tell the story behind the numbers to drive improvement.
- You thrive in cross-functional environments and can communicate effectively with everyone from technical teams to the C-Suite.
Benefits
- A fully remote role (UK based)
- Base salary of up to £80K + bonus
- Work closely with the Head of Customer to shape the future of our team’s value proposition.
- The opportunity to own a critical revenue and value channel within a rapidly-scaling MGA.
