ASSOCIATE – STRATEGIC TEAM LIFTS & GROWTH ADVISORY

London | £40K + Uncapped Commission | Growth advisory for Insurance, Insurtech, Specialty Finance & Technology

Broaden is a growth consultancy operating at the intersection of executive search, growth advisory, and corporate M&A.

We're a rapidly growing team with a strong base of clients, and we're looking to scale our London office to support client relationship development and the management of the firm's growth consultancy (recruitment and start-up advisory) processes.

We do not specialise in high-volume contingent recruitment or just grind job boards.

Instead, we work directly with CEOs and M&A Directors across insurance, Fin Tech, and financial sectors to execute retained search mandates, long-term growth advisory, and strategic team lifts.

We're looking for an organised people-person who's genuinely interested in gaining a front seat into building million dollar businesses, someone who values variety in their day, and someone who's hell-bent on making an actual difference to companies and candidates.

Our clients are in critical growth phases - often scaling rapidly post VC/PE fundraising round - and rely on us to deliver honest, high-quality processes at pace for them.

The ideal candidate will have

  • A strong academic background - we need intelligence to do interesting work in interesting ways.
  • Genuinely excellent people skills and the ability to bring energy into every room that you're in.
  • An understanding of the difference between 'working hard' and 'working smart', and the drive to pick the right one.
  • Any experience in high-performance environments - sport, debating, music etc - is very valuable if you can tell us why you did it, and what you learned.
  • We don't care about years worked or about your degree (if you did one).

We're offering up to £40K base + uncapped commission, genuine autonomy over your work, and a pathway to company equity and senior leadership.

The role title doesn't matter, and within reason you can decide what you want - the actual responsibilities of the role define it, not the title.

You must be a UK citizen (or otherwise have the right to work in the UK) to be eligible for this role as we can't sponsor visas just yet.
