VMware @ Broadcom is looking for a seasoned outbound product manager with business development experience responsible for engaging and enabling with Broadcom Software Group’s go to market teams (including sales teams) with ANS Division's security and application delivery products. You will be working to evangelize, insert and expand ANS' vDefend Lateral Security and Avi Load Balancer portfolio, identify use cases, insertion strategies and analyse business case and create sales and “customer value” collateral. You will focus in the EMEA region (and surrounding regions as required) to help grow the business. This team operates in a fast-paced start-up like environment where the successful candidate will wear many hats. You’ll be part of a dedicated and passionate team that has an open communication, empowerment, innovation, teamwork and customer success culture.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business development activities for the vDefend and Avi product lines, primarily in the EMEA region
- Engage closely with sales teams and customers regarding ANS product and deployments
- Work closely with inbound product management and architects to provide feedback on business value proposition, sales and customer messaging, competitive positioning as well as use case calibration.
- Help build and drive strategic customer engagements in partnership with sales team
- Produce technical collateral (white papers, videos, blogs) on technical and business value ANS portfolio for internal (Broadcom GTM) and external (customers and partners) stakeholders
- Speak at events, vMUGs and related forums
Required Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of networking, security and load balancing technologies and products
- Proven experience in engaging with and influencing go to market teams
- Deep understanding of go to market enablement
- Articulate and ability to deliver impactful message to GTM teams, customers and partners
- Speaking experience on industry forums and conferences
Return to Office:
This position requires that the employee work from a local Broadcom office.
Required Education/Experience:
BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field and 15+ years of related experience or MS in Computer Science or Engineering related field and 13+ years of related experience.
This is an on-site office-based position in the UK.
